| Rate This Museum is the brainchild of two museum professionals. After years of working in the field, we realized the need for a clear and efficient dialogue between the public and the museums they visit.
Although travel-related websites may include information about museums, all too often it is confined to the forgotten back pages and includes only basic information about an incomplete list of institutions. Rate This Museum fills this gap by including the unique feature of reviews by past visitors along with a directory of the basic information (addresses, maps, contact information, and basic summary information) for a thorough list of museums. For museum visitors, it is our hope that this site will allow you to share your experiences with future visitors. And for museum staff, this site will greatly aid in measuring how effectively you are reaching your public. Rate This Museum thanks all contributors for making this site a success.
