The Alden B. Dow Museum of Science & Art is located inside Midland Center for the Arts and consists of an interactive and engaging science gallery referred to as the Hall of Ideas and over 7,000 square feet of gallery space featuring changing visual art and science exhibitions to explore throughout the year.

The two "campuses" – Midland Center for the Arts and the Midland County Historical Society’s Heritage Park – are within easy access of US-10 and M-20. Performances, exhibits, films, lectures, permanent hands-on science museum and a permanent collection of Midland artifacts are all included in the activities of MCFTA. Meanwhile, the main campus shares a parking lot with the Dow Gardens, another great regional experience.

A.B. Dow Museum of Science and Art

This museum was very family friendly with engaging exhibits that were hands-on for smaller children, but also interesting for adults. The museum consists of several levels with natural science exhibits, history, music, and car displays. We visited during a tempory reptile exhibit, which was very well put together and engaging for young and old. I highly recommend this museum for a 2-3 hour visit.
