Bantock House is an urban oasis that offers a chance to explore life in an Edwardian home and discover the secrets of Wolverhampton’s rich history.
The house is named after Baldwin and Kitty Bantock. They lived here 100 years ago.
On the ground floor, you can discover more about the Bantock family and the way they lived. Take your time and browse through family albums, peek inside bureau drawers and soak up the Arts and Crafts inspired decor.
Upstairs, the focus shifts to the men and women who shaped Wolverhampton and the industries they created. On this floor you will find displays featuring items from our exquisite Decorative Arts collection, including locally-made enamels, steel jewellery and japanned ware. In addition there is our newly-restored Billiard Room
We have a fantastic new Community Gallery where temporary exhibitions are on display all year round, so there is always something new to see.
