Frontier Texas!
Frontier Texas! is located in downtown Abilene. The facility features an award-winning, innovative (technology-enabled) and totally unique interactive audio-visual experience. The tour through the region’s frontier history is made personal by historic personalities who "come to life" to share their compelling stories. Frontier Texas! serves as the visitor center for the Texas Forts Trail region, and is a non-profit museum.
Regular admission to the permanent exhibits is: Adults $8.00, Seniors (60 and over) $6.00, Military $6.00, Students/Teachers $5.00, Children 3-12 years $4.00 and Children 2 and under are free.
Frontier Texas! is open Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.. The museum is located at 625 North First Street. Phone (325)437–2800 or visit www.frontiertexas.com for special events and additional information.
